The power of wind brought by a storm and the quantity of rain brought by a hurricane
Are equaled, the angry roaring of wind we’ve heard in the rain
And the loud cry of rain we’ve heard from the wind, are equaled
The willfulness of the rain, the obstinacy of the wind
They get entangled in the heavy dark clouds sky

The courier has left, for a long while
I’m watching at a flower swing in the wind, in the leisured spring
Love became obsolete in the love letter, words became mildewed

When you were just beginning to blossom
It was in the legend period of three years of natural disasters
All the young folks were malnutrition and withered
You were hanging on the branch with a piteous beauty

When I am alone, I will go to the corner of the wall
I would like to watch at that cluster of irises
their purple petals looked like the glum butterflies
I only look at them, but had never tried to comfort them

What else I can say
When wind, it has easily flipped the year’s calendar over
From the spring to the autumn

The luxuriant green leaves of a tree
It has been unwittingly turned yellow
..

A fierce gale suddenly blows
A paper-airplane takes off from my hands
It rises into the air like an eagle
And sprints up in the wind

In the wild field, a pair of footprints is buried in the heavy snow
Wing is howling, snow is heavily falling

Trees and wheat heaps, houses and short wall

Checkerboard

For the steps in the world
Whatever the broad road or narrow road
all can be called as stray roads
Whichever the comings route or goings route
eventually will be led astray at the end…

We rely on it
And it’s loved like a child

Noon, the sunlight streamed through the window

Once more, has mentioned the city of Suzhou

The Chinese version of “A Never Showed up Spring” was published in the first issue of the Miniessay Multilingual Magazine. The English version made some slightly revisions.

(1)
I had never seen Xiao Qi was in tears.
Until today, what I can see is still a weak, scrawny face in poor health with a flat nose and grayish-purple lips. When I looked at Xiao Qi’s head, I always recalled a skull on my teacher’s desk while I was learning how to draw a rough sketch in the school, maybe because he has lost almost all his hair. …

The Chinese version of “I Can Really Do a Headstand” was published in the first issue of the Miniessay Multilingual Magazine.

This summer has been really very hot, people are easy to get on their nerves with this boiling hot weather. Just imagine, if a fridge was turning to be a hot oven; or a swimming pool was swarming as in an overcrowded shower room; …

Drifting Along My Memory (8)

Yellow River Runs into Far-flung Sea
by Min Saab

Outside an age-old village,
a bold and unconstrained route carried the yellow dust,
the red cloud yearned for the sky beyond the mountains.

Beside an age-old ferry-port,
a bowl of red-date-wine strengthened the heroic aspirations,
the Yellow River winded its way towards the seas.
